East-West Globalization Firm Supports Chinese Delegation at BEA<\/span><\/h3>\n

San Francisco, CA – CSOFT International, Inc.<\/a>, a leading provider of globalization and communications solutions, announced today its participation at New York\u2019s BookExpo America as the global strategic partner of China\u2019s national publishing group, CIGP (China International Publishing Group). For the first time in history, China has been selected as the show\u2019s guest of honor. CSOFT is proud to have been invited to support CIPG, which is part of the Chinese delegation led by Wu Shangzhi, Vice Minister of China’s State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SAPPRFT).<\/p>\n

Executive Vice President for Global Growth and Operations, Will Knight, is representing CSOFT during the \u201cSymposium on Xi Jinping: The Governance of China,\u201d which will be held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on May 28th. Huang Youyi, Vice President of CIPG and the primary translator of the book about which the symposium is held, will open the event with anecdotes about the translation process. This will be followed by speeches from Steven Rosato, BEA President, Cui Tiankai, Chinese ambassador to the United States, and Robert Lawrence Kuhn, renowned American corporate strategist and China commentator.<\/p>\n

The Chinese delegation\u2019s attendance at this event is part of the PRC\u2019s greater outreach to help the rest of the world understand China, China business, and how to work more effectively in cross-cultural contexts, an effort that also includes the recent launch of a new series of books entitled Understanding the CPC, and a weekly television show called \u201cCloser to China with Robert Lawrence Kuhn.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aligned with the company\u2019s initiatives to bring the West closer to China, CSOFT recently held a panel discussion, where panelist Huang Youyi, Huawei\u2019s Bill Chen and AMD\u2019s Ron Myers spoke on the topic of \u201cAli-blah-blah-blah: Speaking the Language of China\u201d at LocWorld27 Shanghai. During the panel, Huang said, \u201cThe book is an important tool to help the West understand China better. We hope that by understanding China, western companies can do business in China more effectively and foster more lasting business relationships.\u201d<\/p>\n
